Softball Recap: Millennium Comes Up Short

Millennium was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 9-3 to the Corona del Sol Aztecs. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly six runs.

Millennium saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nayelli Banuelos, who scored a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Millennium's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Corona del Sol, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 10-6.

While Millennium had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
