Softball Recap: Wilcox Comes Up Short

Wilcox and Hillsdale squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Wilcox had to settle for second. They came up short against the Knights, falling 12-2. The Chargers haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Wilcox's defeat dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Hillsdale, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season.

While Wilcox had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
