Baseball Game Preview: Collinsville Cardinals vs. Claremore Zebras

For the second straight game, Collinsville will face off against Claremore. The Cardinals will venture away from home to take on the Zebras at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Collinsville 3.6, Claremore 2.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Collinsville is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Claremore just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Monday. They lost 9-1 to the Zebras. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Cardinals have suffered since March 20th.

Claremore has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Collinsville, their loss dropped their record down to 25-6.
