Beech extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 3-1. They enjoyed a cozy 42-27 win over the Upperman Bees. The Buccaneers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

As for Upperman, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2. The contest marked their lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Upperman's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bronzdon Chaffin, who rushed for 163 yards on only 13 carries, and also threw for 225 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Colton Johnson was in the mix too, providing the Bees with two scores.

Looking ahead, Beech will square off against Hunters Lane at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Buccaneers will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 38.4 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Upperman, they will take on DeKalb County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
