Basketball Recap: Fossil Ridge Comes Up Short

Fossil Ridge has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 60-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southwest Raiders on Tuesday. The Panthers were probably out for revenge after losing 58-48 to them when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Fossil Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Southwest, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-6.

Fossil Ridge will be taking part in a tournament against All S at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Southwest, they will welcome Aledo at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. Aledo will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Southwest surely won't give up without a fight.
