Basketball Recap: New Waverly Comes Up Short

New Waverly lost against Trinity back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The New Waverly Bulldogs fell 55-43 to the Trinity Tigers. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

New Waverly's record now sits at 6-14. As for Trinity, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Waverly will host Anderson-Shiro at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Trinity, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Crockett at 7:00 p.m.
