Baseball Recap: Ka'u Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Ka'u had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 10-2 to the Hawaii Prep Ka Makani on Saturday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Hawaii Prep's record now sits at 5-1.

Ka'u will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hawaii Prep at 1:00 p.m. on March 29th. As for Hawaii Prep, they will challenge Kohala at 1:00 p.m. on March 1st. Hawaii Prep is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.7 runs per game this season.
