There's no place like home for Konos Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Creekside Christian Academy Cougars 3-2. This was payback for the Condor, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Konos Academy was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-14, 15-25, 21-25, 25-15, 15-3.

Creekside Christian Academy lost on Tuesday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Katelynn Rossiter, who had seven digs and two aces. She has been hot, having also posted 19 or more assists the last five times she's played. Morgan Starr was another key player, getting 11 digs.

Konos Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Creekside Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-18.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Konos Academy will face off against Trinity Christian School of Griffin at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Creekside Christian Academy, they will challenge New Creation Christian Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
