Volleyball Recap: Proviso West Comes Up Short

Proviso West lost against Saint Viator back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Saint Viator got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Abigail Sheldon out in front who had five aces and one assist. That's the most aces Sheldon has posted over her last ten games. Kate Adamski was another key player, getting five aces.

Proviso West's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Saint Viator, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-3.

Proviso West has already played their next contest (against Conant), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Saint Viator, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Rolling Meadows on the 19th.
