Portal was the 85-32 winner over Bryan County when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Portal Panthers took a 43-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bryan County Redskins.
Kj Hunter and Zion Lanier certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Hunter earned seven points plus two steals and two blocks, while Lanier scored eight points in addition to nine rebounds. Jaylon Strickland was another key player, scoring seven points along with six rebounds and two steals.
