Connor Anderson Game Report: vs Century

Glencoe was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Connor Anderson did his best to prevent it. Century had no answer to Anderson as he struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits (and only one walk). Anderson has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Anderson and Glencoe are taking a road trip to take on Newberg at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Sadly, Anderson's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Crimson Tide's three-game streak of wins at home. With the streak broken, Anderson and the Crimson Tide surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Monday's match.
