Softball Recap: Bishop Lynch Takes a Loss

Bishop Lynch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They fell 4-1 to the Ursuline Academy Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-11 last Wednesday.

Aaliyah Bryant was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3. Maddie Holter also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Bishop Lynch's defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Ursuline Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Bishop Lynch nor Ursuline Academy have any future games scheduled.
