Volleyball Recap: Ferris Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Ferris was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Shadle Park Highlanders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Highlanders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

While Ferris had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 19-25, 25-21, 25-21.

Ferris' defeat dropped their record down to 3-7-1. As for Shadle Park, their victory ended an eight-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-11.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ferris will take on rival University at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Shadle Park is set to challenge their familiar foe Gonzaga Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
