With a playoff win on the line, Jefferson Academy rose to the challenge on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Coal Ridge Titans 3-2. Winning may never get old, but Jefferson Academy sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

They hit Coal Ridge with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Dylan Bahrenburg, Troy Brown, and Luca Arroyo.

Jefferson Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-2-4. As for Coal Ridge, they moved to 13-4-1 with that defeat, which also ended their five-match winning streak.

Coming up, Jefferson Academy will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Steamboat Springs at 7:30 p.m. Coal Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
