Softball Recap: Weatherford Eagles vs. Perkins-Tryon Demons
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Weatherford had no problem doing just that on Friday. They never let the Perkins-Tryon Demons onto the board and left with a 10-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on 22 straight.
Kaitlyn Bryant was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Harlie Chism, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
Weatherford pushed their record up to 28-1 with the win, which was their 23rd straight at home dating back to last season. As for Perkins-Tryon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-22 record this season.
As of now, neither Weatherford nor Perkins-Tryon have any future games scheduled.
