Basketball Game Preview: High Point Central Bison vs. Eastern Guilford Wildcats

Meanwhile, Eastern Guilford had to endure a nine-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They blew past Northeast Guilford 60-39 on Tuesday. The Wildcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

High Point Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Eastern Guilford, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

High Point Central was dealt a bruising 52-14 defeat at the hands of Eastern Guilford when the teams last played back in January. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point High Point Central was down 31-6.
