Volleyball Recap: Canyon Comes Up Short

Canyon and Los Alamitos squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Canyon had to settle for second. They came up short against the Griffins, falling 3-0. The Comanches have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Canyon ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20, 25-17.

Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Los Alamitos, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 17-15.

Canyon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Los Alamitos, they will square off against Valencia at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Griffins surely won't give up without a fight.
