Softball Recap: North Iredell Comes Up Short

North Iredell's last matchup with Mooresville could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Wednesday. The Raiders lost 10-3 to the Blue Devils. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Blue Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

North Iredell's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Mooresville, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Looking ahead, North Iredell is taking a road trip to square off against East Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mooresville, they will host Lake Norman at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Blue Devils' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
