Denny Masters turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three hits surrendered on Wednesday. He turned in his biggest game of the season, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He is becoming a predictor of Miamisburg's success: when he allows at most two earned runs the team is 2-1 (and 2-5 when he doesn't).

Looking ahead, Masters and Miamisburg will host Springboro at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings have some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since April of 2019, but a win here would be a good start.
