Football Recap: Tulelake Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Tulelake's offense. They were outmatched by the Hayfork Timberjacks and fell 60-0. The loss continues a trend for the Honkers in their meetings with the Timberjacks: they've now lost four in a row.

Levi Cavalli had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 259 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries for Hayfork. Cavalli's rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 21st straight game with at least 100 rushing yards dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Daryn Douglas, who rushed for 86 yards and a pair of scores on only six carries.

Tulelake's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Hayfork, their victory bumped their record up to 10-0.

Looking ahead, Tulelake will challenge Happy Camp at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Honkers will be up against the Indians' rather soft defense (which has allowed 40.75 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Hayfork does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
