Volleyball Recap: McAllen Memorial Victorious

McAllen Memorial posted their closest win since August 22nd on Friday. They skirted past the Antonian Prep Apaches 2-1. This was payback for the Mustangs, who suffered a 2-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Antonian Prep lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Camilla Serna, who had 19 assists and ten digs. Another player making a difference was Carley Leal, who had 17 digs and one assist.

McAllen Memorial's victory bumped their record up to 19-3. As for Antonian Prep, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 15-9 record.

McAllen Memorial wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Memorial on the 29th. As for Antonian Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Pieper on the 29th.
