Deerfield came tearing into Tuesday's match with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Madison Country Day 73-38. Given the Demons' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 87th, while Madison Country Day are ranked 409th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
