Volleyball Recap: Siren Dragons vs. Turtle Lake Lakers
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Siren can now relate to. They came up short against the Turtle Lake Lakers on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Dragons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lakers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.
While Siren was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-22, 25-14.
Turtle Lake found their leader in sophomore Destiney Osumi, who had ten digs and four aces.
Siren has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-18 record this season. As for Turtle Lake, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-12.
Siren does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Turtle Lake has already played their next contest (against Frederic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
