Dunmore had to settle for second on Tuesday, but Rachel Walsh sure wasn't going down easily. Walsh was dialed in as she struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. Considering she played a big game the last time she faced off against Holy Cross back in April of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Walsh has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Walsh and Dunmore will head out on the road to square off against Honesdale at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The last time Walsh duked it out with the Hornets (on April 2nd), the Bucks came out on top by a score of 17-2. Will another strong game from Walsh be enough to do it again?
