Volleyball Recap: North Myrtle Beach's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

If North Myrtle Beach was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of South Florence last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chiefs fell just short of the Conway Tigers by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Chiefs have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, North Myrtle Beach sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 0-25, 25-0, 0-25, 15-0.

Having lost for the first time this season, North Myrtle Beach fell to 3-1. As for Conway, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

North Myrtle Beach didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Socastee on the 11th. Conway has also already played their next contest (against Myrtle Beach), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
