Marana is 9-1 against Rincon/University since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rangers at 4:00 p.m. Marana has given up an average of 6.7 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Things were looking good for Marana after they put the first runs on the board on Tuesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tucson High Magnet School. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Badgers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Bella Corona made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Alana Lopez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Rincon/University fell victim to Sunnyside and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Blue Devils, falling 13-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Marana's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Rincon/University, they dropped their record down to 5-13 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Marana took their victory against Rincon/University when the teams last played last Tuesday by a conclusive 18-1 score. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Rangers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
