Baseball Recap: Southeastern Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Southeastern got their first taste of in-conference action on Monday and they started things off strong. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Huntington Huntsmen. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by six runs or more this season.

Southeastern's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-5. As for Huntington, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Southeastern will face off against rival Paint Valley at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Huntington is set to take on their familiar foe Unioto at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Huntsmen 3.3, the Shermans 2.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
