Marshall County lost to Mayfield back in December of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Marshall County Marshals blew past the Mayfield Cardinals 68-43. The Marshals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 20 points or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Marshall County and bumps their season record up to 25-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points over those games. As for Mayfield, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 17-8 record this season.

Looking ahead, Marshall County will face off against Mt. Vernon at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mayfield, they are taking a road trip to take on Carlisle County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
