Basketball Recap: Heights Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Heights, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They blew past the Bellaire Cardinals 74-54 on Tuesday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Bulldogs' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 303rd, while the Cardinals are ranked 80th).

Heights pushed their record up to 17-12 with the win, which was their third straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 50 points. As for Bellaire, their loss ended a ten-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 17-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Heights will face off against Houston Math Science & Tech at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Bellaire, they will challenge Wisdom at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
