Softball Recap: Mooresville Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Mooresville's offense. They came up short against the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls on Tuesday, falling 6-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Ragin' Bulls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-0 back in March.

Mooresville has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. As for Hickory Ridge, their victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-2.

Looking ahead, Mooresville will venture away from home to face off against Hopewell at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Blue Devils' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Titans have averaged an impressive 12 runs per game this season. As for Hickory Ridge, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Stanly at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
