Allen Park waltzed into their match on Saturday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Anchor Bay Tars.

Melody Filipiak spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on three hits and racked up ten Ks.

On the hitting side, Kiley Carr was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted over her last ten contests.

Allen Park's win bumped their record up to 25-6. As for Anchor Bay, they moved to 18-9 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
