Winning always takes teamwork, but on Wednesday Jake Richardson stepped things up a notch to give Essex the 'W'. Richardson was dynamite, striking out nine batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and not a single walk).

Richardson's effort led Essex over West Point and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Essex has been dominating at home and they will enter the match having won eight straight home games dating back to last season.
