Pewamo-Westphalia put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 35-25 win over the Bath Fighting Bees. Given the Pirates' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 25th, while the Fighting Bees are ranked 278th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Pewamo-Westphalia's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.6 points over those games. As for Bath, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season.

Coming up, Pewamo-Westphalia will take on New Lothrop at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. New Lothrop's defense has only allowed 26.1 points per game this season, so Pewamo-Westphalia's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Bath, they will host Dansville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bath is facing Dansville at the right time seeing as Dansville is stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
