Volleyball Recap: West Yellowstone Takes a Loss

West Yellowstone was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the North Fremont Huskies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Tuesday.

While West Yellowstone was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into North Fremont's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-17, 25-20.

West Yellowstone's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for North Fremont, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season.

West Yellowstone will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Gardiner at 5:30 p.m. on the 19th. As for North Fremont, they are taking a road trip to take on Leadore at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
