Baseball Recap: Westwood Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Westwood's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Mountain View Toros on Thursday. The match marked the first time this season in which the Warriors were not able to get on the board.

Westwood is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-9. As for Mountain View, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westwood will square off against Dobson at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Mountain View, they will take on Red Mountain at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Mountain Lions' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so the Toros' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
