Softball Recap: Tolar Comes Up Short

Tolar was the 8-5 winner over Early when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Rattlers came up short against the Longhorns on Tuesday, falling 13-3. The Rattlers just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Senne Imel was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Kanyn Deaver, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Tolar's defeat dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Early, they pushed their record up to 16-8 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tolar will challenge Benbrook at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Rattlers will need to watch out since the Bobcats have now posted at least ten runs in their last 11 contests. As for Early, they will face off against Dublin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Longhorns are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a 15-game losing streak.
