It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Crestwood had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 71-43 victory over the West Geauga Wolverines. The Red Devils' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Crestwood's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Hannah Ward led the charge by putting up 12 points along with five assists and five steals. Ward is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 11 games she's played. Abby Guyette was another key player, scoring six points in addition to nine steals and six rebounds.

Crestwood's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points over those games. As for West Geauga, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-19.

Looking ahead, Crestwood will take on Cloverleaf at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cloverleaf is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.7 points per game this season. West Geauga does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
