Basketball Recap: Elkhart's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

Elkhart's tournament run continued when they took on Trinity on Friday. The Elks fell 45-40 to the Tigers. The loss was the Elks' first of the season.

Trinity's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Braleigh Bush led the charge by putting up 14 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Mariah Tyson, who posted seven points along with nine boards and four blocks.

Having lost for the first time this season, Elkhart fell to 4-1. As for Trinity, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Elkhart has already played their next contest, a 46-27 victory against Centerville on the 21st. As for Trinity, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 50-31 loss against Slocum on the 21st.
