Volleyball Recap: Williamsburg Academy Victorious

The Williamsburg Academy Stallions were able to grind out a solid victory over the Virtus Academy Wolves on Tuesday, taking the game 3-1.

Williamsburg Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-20, 25-20, 25-19.

Williamsburg Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Virtus Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7-1 record this season.

Williamsburg Academy will square off against Pee Dee Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Virtus Academy, they are taking a road trip to take on Trinity Collegiate at 4:30 p.m. on the 18th.
