Baseball Recap: Bowie Sets Scoring Season-High Against Fabens

Bowie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 16-9 to the Fabens Wildcats. One positive for the Bears, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Bowie's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Fabens, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Bowie will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Austin at 11:15 a.m. on March 22nd. Fabens also won't see the field for a while: their next matchup is against Chaparral at 6:00 p.m. on March 18th.
