Basketball Recap: Wesclin's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

Wesclin lost against Columbia back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wesclin Warriors fell 72-62 to the Columbia Eagles. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Columbia was led to victory by Brody Landgraf and Sam Donald. Landgraf posted 24 points, while Donald put up 20 points. Donald's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Micah James was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Wesclin's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-7. As for Columbia, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 17-4.

Wesclin will face off against Salem at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wesclin is facing Salem at the right time seeing as Salem is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Columbia, they will take on Waterloo at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
