Volleyball Recap: Sutherland Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Sutherland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Wauneta-Palisade Broncos. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Broncos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 two weeks ago.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-13, 25-10.

Eliana Dyer paced Sutherland's offense, picking up four kills. Dyer got some help from Drew Rotert and her ten assists.

Sutherland's loss dropped their record down to 6-23. As for Wauneta-Palisade, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-11.

Sutherland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wauneta-Palisade, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Morrill on the 28th.
