Baseball Recap: Crystal River Takes a Loss

Crystal River lost against Weeki Wachee last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pirates lost 11-1 to the Hornets. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Crystal River saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grayson Stack, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Crystal River's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Weeki Wachee, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crystal River will face off against Springstead at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pirates are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Weeki Wachee, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Citrus at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
