Holy Trinity Catholic extends road losing streak to six

This season hasn't been kind to the Holy Trinity Catholic Celtics, who are still winless after their sixth game. They were outmatched by Live Oak Classical on the road and fell 62-7. Holy Trinity Catholic has not had much luck with Live Oak Classical recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Live Oak Classical's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Julia Pitts, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. Pitts is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Audrey Pahmiyer, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Holy Trinity Catholic bumped their record down to 0-6 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 9.5 points per game. As for Live Oak Classical, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Holy Trinity Catholic will be playing in front of their home fans against Central Texas Christian at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Central Texas Christian is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. As for Live Oak Classical, they will head out on the road to challenge Brazos Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Brazos Christian comes in on three and Live Oak Classical on four.
