Basketball Recap: Windsor Academy Falls to First Presbyterian Day in First Game of Season

Windsor Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by the First Presbyterian Day Vikings 77-46 on Thursday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Despite the loss, Windsor Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kennedi Harris dropped a double-double with 25 points and 18 boards.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Windsor Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Georgia Military College at 6:00 p.m. on the 17th. As for First Presbyterian Day, they will be taking part in a tournament against Westwood at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
