Basketball Recap: Hawbridge Takes a Loss

Hawbridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Alamance Christian Warriors and fell 76-19. One positive for the Herons, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Hawbridge's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Alamance Christian, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 14-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hawbridge will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Emerson Waldorf at 4:15 p.m. on January 30th. Alamance Christian has already played their next matchup (against Community Baptist), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
