Basketball Recap: Big Spring Comes Up Short

Big Spring lost against Estacado back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Big Spring Steers were beaten by the Estacado Matadors 96-45. The Steers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Big Spring's defeat dropped their record down to 10-19. As for Estacado, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 26-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Big Spring will face off against Snyder at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Big Spring is facing Snyder at the right time seeing as Snyder is stuck on a 17-game losing streak. As for Estacado, they will square off against Levelland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
