Baseball Recap: Marietta Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Marietta was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Fort Frye Cadets by a score of 3-2. The Tigers have struggled against the Cadets recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Marietta's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Fort Frye, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.

Coming up, Marietta is taking a road trip to square off against Cambridge at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fort Frye, they will host Waterford at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
