Payton Prior was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in May of 2024. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Savannah Lorenzini was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February of 2024. Cat Alston was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
