            Baseball Preview: Curie Condors vs. Kennedy Crusaders        
        
		
        
        
            For the second straight game, Curie will face off against Kennedy. The Condors will look to defend their home field  on Friday against the Crusaders  at 12:00  p.m. Curie has given up an average of 10  runs per game this season, but Friday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Curie came into their game  on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost  14-4 to Kennedy. The  loss   continues a  trend for the Condors in their meetings with the Crusaders: they've now lost six in a row.
 For Kennedy's part,  Giovanni Rocha and  Mason Rychetsky did most of the damage at the plate:  Rocha  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3, while  Rychetsky  went a perfect 2-for-2 with three  RBI, one  triple,  and one  stolen base. That's the most  RBI  Rychetsky has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Christian Estreda, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-2.
 Kennedy has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Curie, their  defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-3.
